Rewind is produced by KYW NewsRadio anchor Brandon Brooks. A 30-some year broadcast veteran, Brooks has his roots in the Top 40 Radio sounds of the 70's, freely admitting he was one of the five worst disc jockeys ever. Luckily, he found his calling in radio news around '74 or '75 (it all blurs together), but dabbled in television on and off for a decade or so in the 80's and 90's, before wiser heads decided that Brooks has an EXCELLENT face for radio.
So here he is, ecstatically ensconced at KYW, trying to add a dash of panache to afternoon drive, while producing his beloved Rewind, and keeping his ears peeled for the next fun project. (you DID check out the special features page, didn’t you?)
Oh, you want some personal stuff? Well, he used to be a pretty fair 10 handicap on the golf course before his swing got shorter than Sonny Corleone's temper. Now he and long-suffering wife Melissa love to ride their motorcycles and try to get the dogs and the kids to LISTEN!
